Landmark saves clients over $3M in commercial rent
Landmark Advisory Services, a Canadian commercial real estate advisory firm, announced today the first results of its Emergency Rent Relief Program (ERRP). Designed and implemented following the financial crisis in 2009, Landmark’s ERRP has been tailored and leveraged in response to COVID-19 in an effort to assist clients in reducing their real estate occupancy costs as quickly as possible to mitigate ongoing financial damages caused by the ongoing pandemic.
The program helps clients understand what options are available to them: Rent Reduction or Cessation, Rent Deferral, or Rent Restructuring. Landmark’s Managing Partners, Transaction Managers, Real Estate Lawyers, Master Urban Planners, and Lease Administrators are all ERRP team members. To date, over $3 million has been saved from immediate rental costs on behalf of its clients.
Robert Cressaty, President of Landmark, said: “We are glad to see fast positive results for our clients. Landmark has generated millions of dollars in reduced real estate costs to support our clients during this uncertain time. We are confident the results will grow as our efforts continue. These are truly unique and difficult times. We are pleased to be there as a reliable partner to our clients.”
